Born on 03.10.1936.  Enrolled as an Advocate in 1960-61. Practised for 10 years as advocate. Appointed to Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service in 1970. Promoted to the Himachal Pradesh Higher Judicial Service in  1970. Worked as Secretary (Law) and Legal Remembrancer to the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh 24.07.1990. Appointed Additional Judge to the Himachal Pradesh High Court for a period of two years with effect from 30.07.1993 and permanent Judge of that High Court on 27.06.1995. Retired on 03.10.1998.
