Born on 3rd April 1917.
Educated at Government High School, Fatehgarh; D.A.V High School, Kanpur
and City A.V. High School, Allahabad; Agra College, Agra. He entered
the U.P. Judicial Service in 1944. Worked as Munsif (Subordinate
Judge) from 12.07.1944 to 1951; Civil and Assistant Sessions Judge
from 1951 to October, 1953; Under Secretary in the Ministry of Law,
Government of India, from October 1953 to May, 1956; Civil & Sessions
Judge (Additional Sessions Judge)
U.P. Higher Judicial Service from May, 1956 to April, 1963; Judicial
Secretary-cum-Legal Remembrancer, Himachal Pradesh Government from April,
1963 to April, 1967; District and Sessions Judge, Shimla from April, 1967
to January, 1968; Judicial Secretary-cum-Legal Remembrancer
Government of Himachal Pradesh from January, 1968 to 11th March 1971.
Appointed Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh with effect from
11th March, 1971 (A.N.). Retired on 3rd April, 1979.
