Born on March 22, 1944. He
was enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana,
Chandigarh on July 15, 1971 and practised on Civil, Constitutional and
Taxation matters in the High Court at Chandigarh. He was appointed as an
Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on March 15, 1991
and permanent Judge on July 08, 1992. He was transferred to the Jammu and
Kashmir High Court on December 03, 2001. Remained Acting Chief Justice
from April 09, 2002 to May 14, 2002 and from March 05, 2003 to
February 04, 2004. Transferred as Judge of High Court of Himachal Pradesh,
Shimla and joined as such on October 19, 2005.
